The Wheels on the Bus...

We decided to have Kennedy ride the big yellow bus home in the afternoons. Why you might ask?? Because we get home at the same time that the bus pulls in. Saves me sitting in line for 30 minutes and Cate screaming because she wants out of the car. So, I wrote a note to her teacher today and made Kennedy recite her bus number about 400 times. I was SO nervous today that she wouldn't make it home. I was worried that she might get on the wrong bus or not at all. My biggest concern was that she would be scared if something wrong happened. So....the bus pulls up and a little girl gets off and I am freaking out thinking Kennedy isn't there. Eventually her little self pops off the bus and my nerves are calmed! I asked her how the bus ride was and she replies....AWESOME! Whew...glad all went well!!

I knew K would love the bus - all those people, all the different conversations she can be a part of - she was totally in her element. HA Glad she got home safely. You might want to strongly suggest she sit up toward the bus driver though - IF something bad is gonna happen the back of the bus is where it will. The back of the bus is where they trouble makers all go first.
