Whew, we are back home!!

We left last Monday and headed down to Jacksonville. On the way down I said to Dean that we should have planned on going to Disney on Thursday once he was done working. He told me there was no way he could take off on such short notice and since being away for basically 2 weeks he just couldn't do it. So...no biggie!! We got down to Jax and Dean went to work while I organized the hotel room. We had a 1bdrm suite which was nice. Dean, Sam, and I shared our room and then Cate and Kennedy were out in the living room. Kennedy slept on the couch and Cate slept in a pack n play. She learned how to climb out of it rather quickly. Wow...that was fun! Those girls were like kids on crack I swear. They were nuts in that room. Bouncing off of any and everything. There was a full length mirror and Kennedy would stand in front of it singing and just looking at herself ALL of the time. Now, this part is gross but I did look over one day to find her checking out her butt crack in the mirror. YUP...cheeks spread apart and checking out her butt. So lovely!

On Tuesday I packed us all up and we headed down to Jax Zoo. The kids did so well and had a great time. The weather was really nice that day and a bit cloudy which was great because it could have been super hot otherwise. We walked around most of the day and then we hit up Babies R Us. Where we live there isn't a BRU so we were excited to go to this one. It is HUGE!! After that I proceeded to get extremely lost in Jacksonville. I was trying to get Dean from work and it took me over an hour. He was pretty pissed off because he was just sitting there waiting for me...ooops!!

Wednesday he comes back from work and says we are going to Disney!! We look online for hotels etc. and try to make reservations but can't because you have to book 3 days ahead of time online. STUPID! I call on Thursday morning and I am on hold for 41 friggen minutes. I even left my phone and went to change the laundry over and I was still on hold. I hung up!! Dean gets back and calls and gets straight through! AHHHH!!! Anyway, he books our room and we pack up and head on down to Orlando! Once we got there we spotted a SUPER TARGET. OMG, yes a SUPER TARGET. I have never been to one so for me this was awesome. We had a lot of fun in there...LOL! We then go to our hotel. We stayed at the Disney Beach Club and it was FABULOUS!! The pool area is 3 acres big. It is super huge. There is sand all over the bottom of the pool so it makes it feel like you are at the beach without all the nasty ocean crap. It was so nice and the kids LOVED it.

We hit up Epcot and Animal Kingdom. We got into Epcot on Friday around 9am and stayed until 2ish. We went back to the hotel (about a 5 minute walk...so cool to be so close). We took the kids swimming and then went for a nap. Woke up and we all got ready and then headed back to Epcot. They had extended hours from 9-12am for people staying in Disney Resorts. That was cool and we saw the fireworks and stuff. On Saturday we went to Animal Kingdom. It was SO HOT. I think it was like 90 or something. The place was really crowded too. I think the kids were just too hot to care. I wish we would have just stayed and hung out by the pool. Oh well.

Sunday we got up and drove home. We ended up getting home around 5pm. The kids slept almost the entire way home. I think they were pooped. I put some pics below. My camera died early on in our trip so not too many pics. But I added the pics the Disney people took so you will see lots!!!
