Back to the real world!

Well, it is back to the real world for me. My inlaws left yesterday afternoon and didn't take any of the children back with them...WTH? HAHA! They were such a HUGE help and I am not sure what I will do now that they are gone? I can pee with the bathroom door open now but that is about the only upside to them being gone. Kennedy and Cate miss them already. Last night Cate kept saying...Nan and Grandad bye bye. It was so sweet! They were spoiled rotten for the last 3 weeks that is for sure!

Today will be the first morning that I have to bring Cate and Sam with me to take Kennedy to school. I have to get all 3 in the car buy 8:30...should be fun. I am so scared of forgetting one of them now. I can't imagine if I had more because I might accidentally forget one.

The family as a whole is doing great. Kennedy is doing fantastic in school. Her teacher told me she could totally skip kindergarten and head straight for 1st grade. We are trying to get her into a magnet school here in Savannah. It is done by lottery so hopefully she gets in! Fingers crossed! She is great with Sam but her attention span isn't that big so if she is holding him it lasts for about 30 seconds. Cate is like a Mini Mom. She is constantly checking on him, covering him up, and kissing on him. If he makes the slightest noise she says don't cry baby. She also will NOT call him Sam. If I say to her...say Sam...she says BABY!! Too funny and cute. Dean is just busy as ever at work. He works close to 60hrs a week and that sucks because I would like him home more. We miss him but I know he is working hard and doing the best that he can. We just have to get all we can on the weekends!

I am going to tour the school we want Kennedy to go to tonight and then I have a Mom's Night Out. This is my first night out in FOREVER!! I am taking Sam with me but he is so sweet and easy it won't matter. A few of us are going to a friends house to just hang out. It will be really nice to just shoot the shit without the big kids bugging us!!

Well, it is now 3:05am and Sam has finished feeding so I guess I will put him back in bed and me back in bed too. Tonight is the first night I have slept in my bed in 3 weeks and it feels fabulous. Only problem is that Sam doesn't want to sleep in his bed at night time. He just wants his motion glider. Whatever as long as he is sleeping!! Good night all or is it good morning? LOL
