Kennedy has always had a love for art. She was in the art club last year and will join again at her new school. Today she got a new t-shirt with an owl on it and decided to draw it!! I think she did a pretty damn good job!!

Today was a little productive. I managed to finish off my closet. Got everything together to give to the Goodwill, pile for a friend having a baby girl, HUGE pile of Sam's things to give to friend for her lil man, went through all of the medications (I swear I have more that CVS), and sorted through the kids clothes. I don't need to move fall/winter stuff now. The packers can pack that crap. I just need summery stuff. Also, trying to get stuff together for the yard sale on Saturday. So much stuff to get rid of!!

Well, off to bed but excited for my last MNO tomorrow with my Savannah girls! It seems that most of us are moving. Crazy that it's all around the same time. Will be super sad to say goodbye. :(

Wiped Out!

Wow, today I did so much stuff. I sorted all of the clothes from Sam's room, cleaned my closet, completely cleaned out our fridge that we sold tonight, and washed the cushions on Kennedy's couch. I. AM. TIRED! I still have so much to do to get ready for Saturday's yard sale and for the move on Sunday. I also organized a lot of my Totally Bowlicious things because I figure now is a good time to make bows etc. to get my stock built back up! Excited about doing shows in a new town....sad about being alone now though. With the move I lose my BFF and my TB partner...boohoo!!

Off to bed because tomorrow is another busy day!!

Going to try this blogging thing again!! I always have things to say and figure this is a good place to get it all out!!

The kids and I are moving in 5 days back to Nashville. We are all excited for this new adventure and also glad to be back "home". We are still unsure when Dean will join us but hopefully no later than Sept. 1st. Should be interesting with very little furniture and such. Basically whatever I can fit in the back of my Expedition will be what we have until Dean makes the move. WOOHOO!

This week will be getting all of clothes together, must have items (coffee maker), and the tv's. I have been told I have to clean out my side of the closet too before I leave. BLAH!!!

Anyway, I am going to blog...I am I am!

Christmas 2010 came without a hitch! It all started with camping out for Black Friday shopping! I was out from 6:30pm until 7am the next day. Whew!! We had fun though and even got Cynthia out for her first BF experience!!

Well, I took a year off blogging and have decided to try and do it again! I have missed it and missed posting pics of my silly monkeys!!! I will try to summarize the last year quickly...

Kennedy started 2nd grade and has made high honor roll again. She just turned 8 in December. She joined the art club. She is doing great but a bit whiney at times! HAHA

Cate started pre-k this year and LOVES school. She is so super smart and very sassy. She will be 5 on Jan 11th. OMG!!

Sam also started going to a 2 day program at a local church. He loves it and we love it!! He is going to be 3 on Jan 15th. OMG....so sad my baby is growing up!

Unfortunately, we are still in Savannah, GA but I think I am getting used to it? HAHA!

There is so much more that went on but I don't remember. The brain is gone most days!! Here are a few pics from the last year!

Hello All...

Well, we have been busy with summer! We go to the pool almost everyday and just wearing ourselves out! I finally found my sd card for my camera the other day so here are some pictures from yesterday. My MIL wanted a picture of all 3 kids together. Let's put it like this....DRAMA! Yeah, I didn't get all 3 together! I will keep trying but can't promise anything! HAHA!

Kennedy is growing like a weed! I can't believe how much she is growing. On Tuesday she starts cheerleading practice. She is SO excited! I will take pics on Tuesday.

Cate is cute as can be but downright mischievous. Some days I want to pull all of my hair with her. NUTS! She starts WeeSchool on Tuesday and is super excited. She will be going Tues and Thurs from 9-1! Whew...I am looking forward to it as well!!

Sam is just my cutiepatootie!! He is the sweetest child by far that we have. He will come over just to love on you. I think he is about done with teething. Nothing like 8 teeth coming in at once. That was hard work! He is starting to say more words now. He has the cutest grunt/shouting voice now when he is trying to say something!!

Dean and I are doing well too. Everything is calming down here after the whole Orlando trauma. I am happy to admit that I am glad we are staying here for now. We are going out of town in 2 weeks to the lake. So looking forward to it!! It will be nice to see Grandma and my Dad and to just chill out. I know the kids are going to have a blast too!

We went out to watch the fireworks in Savannah tonight. It didn't turn out that well because the kids were whiney and Sam was screaming. Dean doesn't handle the tantrums all that well so he decided to throw one himself. I got mad and said that's it we are going home!! So...home we went!!

The 13 Steps to Breaking a CrackBerry Addiction

1. Admit we were powerless over our CrackBerries — that our lives have become unmanageable without the little gadgets and that, like Pavlovian dogs, we are slaves to its bleeps, vibrations, buzzes and rings.

2. Admit to the universe, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our CrackBerry addiction. Admit that while you might look like you’re praying you are really just texting someone about that chick in HR/guy in the mail room. That you don’t respond to your children unless they vibrate first. That your spouse communicates with you during lovemaking through e-mail -- ‘To: Bob Smith. From: Wife. Subject: Left a little bit.’

3. We must come to believe that only the greater power of wireless-lessness can restore us to sanity.

4. We must make a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the power of unconnectedness and eschew knowing if someone is mailing us at this very minute.

5. Make a searching and fearless moral inventory of our CrackBerry use – do we shamelessly put our BlackBerries on the table in a bar to present a false sense of importance; do we drive and compose e-mail at the same; do we rudely ignore our co-workers, loved ones and children in order to take that “important call” from Ron, the lounge lizard from accounts?

6. Make a list of all persons we have harmed through our rudeness, inconsideration and pretentious self-involvement, and make amends to them all. Sincerely and in person, not via text message -- ‘sory 4 bng a rde bstrd. wnt hppn agn.’

7. Turn off the CrackBerry. Now. No “I’m expecting an important call.” No “My life depends on Shirley getting me those numbers.” No “I’m almost finished my Sudoko game.” Turn it off now. Stop looking at it expectantly. Seriously, stop.

8. Realize that you are not the center of the universe. If someone can’t get a hold of you they will have to wait. That waiting is a natural state. That failure to reach you 24/7 will not mean the end of the world. The universe will not implode, the apocalypse will not happen if Ron/Jeanie doesn’t get a hold of you and has to wait until lunch time to find out if you got lucky with that chick from HR/guy from the mail room.

9. Set limits on BlackBerry use. Use only during business hours. Lock it up when on vacation – you can’t do anything from Cabo anyway. Turn off the vibration feature. Yes girls this means you too. Set a time to review e-mail. Don’t set that time when you are operating a vehicle.

10. Turn off the BlackBerry during all meetings, classes, presentations, weddings and funerals. No one wants you to interrupt the eulogy. Especially if you are giving it.

11. Know that the world actually functioned before BlackBerries and that people managed to survive with ancient tools like phones and desktop computers. While it was a long time ago (circa 2005) there are people still alive who remember this time. Seek out these people and ask them about life back then. And take their advice and learn from them.

12. Having fulfilled these steps know that you control the CrackBerry. It does not control you. That access is a two-way street. That it is a tool, not a chain. That you can relate to actual human beings too.

13. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, carry this message to all CrackBerry addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

Yesterday Kennedy lost her first tooth. She was so excited and proud!! She couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to make her first ever visit. I think her tooth fairy has deeper pockets than mine did. She raked in $5 but was told that that was only for the first tooth gone. It will only be $1 from here on out. LOL

Yes, toilets and trashcans have become apart of my everyday life in ways I don't want them to. Sam has decided to throw toys, fridge magnets and balls into the toilet. Nothing like fetching toys out of the loo. He also has a thing with throwing things into the trashcan. Hopefully we have found everything that has gone into the can. We found his shoes in there recently and today...guess what I found? My telephone (house) and the Directv remote. I was searching for the house phone and couldn't find it anywhere so I called it. As I am listening I find my ear taking me to the trashcan. I open it and find my phone and remote! AHHHHH!!

Little boys are SO different from girls. Neither girl did this!!

Easter is almost here. This year the bunny is bringing just a few things. We don't need candy in this house (Mom and Dad will eat it) because the monkeys will eat it all within the hour. Dean has taken yesterday and today off so it is a nice 4 day weekend for him. Yesterday (today too) I have the stomach flu so I was pretty much out of commission. I got into bed around 2pm and stayed there until 7pm. Whew! While I was sleeping Dean painted our bathroom and put up the new shower rod. We got one of those round ones. I can't believe how much extra space it gives you in the shower.

Not sure what we are doing with the rest of our time off. The weather is going to be fantastic this weekend. Might go outside a lot!

I realize I have another year or so before I start really trying to potty train Sam but I saw this online and thought it was so cool! It is the Peter Potty Flushing Toddler Urinal. I think it is cool to teach the little dude to stand up to pee rather than sitting like a girl! Hope this is still around next year!! HAHA

OMG, what a night! So, we think Sam is getting better right? Well, he is one hell of a cranky dude again yesterday. I mean was crying all day long. No matter what I did it didn't help. Around 4:30pm we put him to bed because he was exhausted. Well, he never woke up again until this morning at 8am. Not bad....except he had a HUGE crap of red. Weird...straight to the bath and all his bedding thrown in the wash. I think this is the 5th time I have washed his bedding this week. Lovely! This morning he seems happier though.

Then around 9:30pm last night Kennedy wakes up and throws up everywhere. UGH! So, I was up with her until 5am with her being sick about every 30 minutes. She seems ok this morning though. I swear someone is always sick.

Now onto the fighting of the girls. I am not sure if I can take much more of it. They are in the front room cleaning up and fighting! I have threatened them with the wooden spoon to their butts if they don't cool it.

I wonder why I don't drink?????

I think we are on the mend here. Sam was feeling a lot better today. He is still wheezing a bit but not nearly as bad and he is much happier. Which is nice!! Thanks for all of the get well wishes!

Whew...what a rough week...

Wow, we are only at hump day and I am ready for the weekend.

Sam started to get sick on Sunday and by Monday morning was wheezing like an old man. I took him in to see Docta Jones and he was given a steroid shot, a breathing treatment, and a Rx for steroids at home. While at the Dr. Sam screamed bloody murder the entire time. I was worn out. Once we got home he was so cranky. He is normally a pretty cool kid but not now. When he would see me coming with a new breathing treatment he would start screaming. I have to hold him down for like 10min while I give him the meds. ARGH...

So then yesterday (Tuesday)he is only making it about 2hrs in between breathing treatments. I call the Dr. to see if I can give them closer together. They wanted me to give him another one then and see if he could make it 4hrs. Well, little Sam only made it 3hrs. I called them back and they wanted him back in asap. So, off we go again. He was wheezing pretty bad but now they found he had an ear infection in the works. So, he was given another breathing treatment (screamed again) and an Rx for antibiotics. Dude, this better work. He is one miserable lil man. I am one miserable Momma. I asked the Docta for some drugs for myself but he declined. Boohoo!

Anyway, I think I am now getting this crap because my throat is super sore.

I just went to the hospital to check out my friends new baby. Let me just say he is the cutest thing in this world, so tiny (born at 34wks), and smells SO GOOD! Baby fever maybe....just something to snuggle with and kiss on but not grow up. HAHA!!

Sam and Cate update!!

Today was Cate and Sam's 1 and 3yr well checks. Yes, a little late but oh well! Cate weighed in at 32lbs and 37 1/2in. Pretty much average. She also got a shot. Poor thing didn't know it was coming.

Drum roll please for Sam.....

He came in at a whopping 28lbs and 31 1/2 in tall. He is in the 95% for height and the same for weight. He got 3 shots today and goes back again at 15mths for another round. Docta Jones said he is doing great though and definitely healthy.

So, I went to the Dr. last week for my foot right? Well, instead of getting better it hurts worse. So, I went back in today and had an ultrasound done on my foot. A normal plantar fascia should be 2mm thick and mine came in at a whopping 6.6mm thick. WHOA!! She said no wonder you hurt so bad. Ya think? Anyways, I was given a walking cast thing to wear at all times except when driving, still continue with the night splint, go back next week for another u/s, and possible physical therapy. WOOHOO!

My Foot

I gave in and went to the foot Dr. About my chronic heel pain. In the xray they found that I had had a stress fracture at some point but it had healed. I do have Plantar Facsiitis though. So, I got a nice shot in the foot which I thought would make it feel better but has made it hurt worse. I also have to wear this ultrasound patch at night and a sexy foot splint!

WOOHOO I have my laptop back. Thank you Geek Squad for fixing it! I did find out that my warranty will not cover the laptop being run over by a tank. Whew...I am glad to know that. I will be very careful from here on out. LOL

Quick recap of the last few weeks....

Kennedy and I went to Disney World (Epcot) for my birthday. We had a great girly weekend together. I highly suggest going on your bday if you can make it. Not only do you get in for free but you get loads of attention. I like that ...LOL! I will post some pictures of our trip.

Sam is officially walking now. He was taking steps for quite sometime but has finally just given in and walks everywhere now. So darn cute. He is huge. He eats everything in sight. He isn't fat at all but very sturdy. We had to postpone his 1yr checkup for some reason (can't remember now why) so I am not sure of his stats.

The girls are doing great. Cate is pretty much potty trained but has a few hiccups here and there. Kennedy was accepted into the gifted program at school and does that 3 days a week. She loves it.

I am leaving my job with American Airlines. THEY SUCK....THEY ARE CROOKED...THEY ARE LIARS....DO NOT FLY WITH THEM.

Today I had Kennedy's parent/teacher conference and found out that she was accepted into the gifted program!! The teacher said she is super duper smart and is doing great....just a talker...LOL!!

We got Kennedy's test scores back that she did in December and she did fantastic. She is in the 92nd percentile. Her overall score was that of a 1st grader and 6mths. A complete year ahead. Last week she was referred to be tested for the gifted program. She has been in testing for that the last few days. She totally loves it. We will have to wait to see for the results though. Anyway, just wanted to brag on her. She is too smart for her own good.

Wow, I can't believe Cate is 3 today! Time has just flown by. She had a great time but at the same time really didn't care. All she cared about were the Dora party hats and the decorations. Cate is easily pleased!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a great one. I am glad to be starting a new year. This past year flew by so quickly.

We didn't do anything on NYE. Around 11:30 we decided to rearrange some stuff and put up the new tv. Our old one broke so we went out to Circuit City and found a great deal on a 42in plasma. It is really nice. Not as good as the one upstairs but this one is for the kids so it will be great.

Kennedy's refurbed wannabe ipod died so she is trying to earn money to buy another one. She has been cleaning bathrooms, sorting laundry, and other random things. Let's see how long it takes her. HAHA

Anyway, Happy New Year to all!

Only a few short hours left of this year and we are just chilling out enjoying them. I finally figured out how to get music on the ipod and gave it to Kennedy. She has been singing away all day. Pretty darn funny actually. Dean is at work trying to play catch up since everyone else is gone he is hoping he can get more done in the quiet. We are going to meet him at work and then head into town. We need to get a new TV because ours friggen died. It will cost the same to get it fixed as it will for a new one. So...that is what we are going to do is look for a new tv. I am also going to try and convince Sprint that they need to let me upgrade a month early. I. Want. My. Blackberry. Now!

Tonight we have no real plans. I am just hoping to still be awake as midnight comes. Dean and I were up late last night (1am) looking at ceiling fans and bedding. Sad old folks we are. Dean's bday is next week and he asked for shelving for the garage. You know you are going to be 45 when you want shelving. Getting old is fabulous.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a safe New Years Eve (remember no drinking and driving) and a wonderful New Year. Hoping for a better 09 than 08!

I just want to inform everyone that the airline industry does NOT create fog, tornados, or snow. This is called NATURE. When your flight is delayed, canceled, for diverted for a weather related event do NOT yell at us. I repeat we did NOT make this happen. Would you really want for the flight to go out into a tornado? Try to land in the fog where the pilot cannot see the runway or land with snow and ice? Think about that before you decide to yell at the ticket agents.

If you have a death wish then go outside and run in front of your nearest bus.

Let's see....what has gone on recently?

Kennedy is getting all excited to have 15 days off from school. She is totally ready for the break and for Xmas. Tomorrow is pj day at school and they are watching Polar Express (which she does not like), eating hot dogs, and sipping hot chocolate. Kennedy says...I can't wait to roll out of bed and just go to school...I don't even have to get dressed...LOL!! Yesterday morning she wrote a few words in her notebook and then read them back to me and then says was that right? I said yes you got it. She then says OH CRAP I CAN READ!! OMG, I almost busted a gut with that.

Cate is ready for Xmas and her birthday. I can't believe she is going to be 3 in less than a month...wow! Cate is extremely amusing and extremely difficult. She is VERY strong willed and will do what she wants when she wants. The other day I said to her...throw that in the trash now and don't make me tell you again. Cate proceeds to say...TELL ME...TELL ME. OMG, smart ass! She is extremely smart...too smart probably. She knows her numbers, alphabet, colors, shapes, and she knows her numbers, colors, and some shapes in spanish as well. When she watches Dora she talks to the tv like Dora is a complete dumbass. Dora will ask where do we go next? Cate responds with...Uh Dora....OVER THE HILL! It is so funny.

Sam is just the sweetest little man ever. He is so different than the girls were. He loves to give kisses and hugs. If Cate is crying he will go to her and hug her. It is way sweet. He has 6 teeth now but his 2 eye teeth are all the way down and he looks like a vampire...pretty funny. He is walking the furniture so I suspect he will be venturing off soon. I can't believe he is going to be 1 next month. This seriously has been the fastest year of my life. I am going to have a birthday party for him and Cate on the same day. Theme...Dora and Diego. WOOHOO!

As for Dean and I...we are both busy with work and life. Dean is off all of Xmas week so he is playing serious catch up this week. Tonight is his works Xmas party...woohoo...can't wait...right. We have plans to go to Las Vegas for Xmas but not sure if that is going to go as planned. Yesterday they had record snow fall and backed up all the air schedules. My Mom isn't going to make it in and I am not sure if we will either. My biggest concern is getting stuck there and not making it back in time for work on Friday. I am not sure what we will do. I want to go so bad but then at the same time it would just be easy and nice to stay home. Crap...I hate when my plans get screwed up.

Anyway, 7 days til Xmas and I need to get my butt in gear giftwrapping. I DO NOT like to wrap.
